If you’re interested in migrating from 1Password or just want to see if Apple’s Password app is more for you, this information is for you. I’ll walk you through all the simple steps to move all your credentials from the 1Password app to the Passwords app on your Mac.

Step 1

First, go to the 1Password app, on the navigation bar, go to Document > Export and choose the shopper you want to export.

Step 2

You will then be asked to enter your 1Password password again. Then choose CSV format, then click Export wisdomchoose a location where you want to save the report, then click Save.

Remember: This can sometimes most likely export all your usernames and passwords directly into a simple CSV document where all passwords are visible. Remember to delete and clean the trash once the migration is complete.
