Inside ChatGPT, when you start a conversation, you will be ready to choose the available style like “GPT-4o”, “o1-mini” and many more, and below all those, there is a selection for Temporary Chat. Unlike more common chats, conversations that occur in temporary chats are likely not used for OpenAI training purposes.
Temporary chats will be deleted and become inaccessible when you do any of the following:
At any time during your ChatGPT session in short chat mode, you can disable the temporary chat selection.
As you do this, the session will automatically turn into a strange chat and the conversation can be carried out from the sidebar like in any other chat.
